Check In Styles Panel
On the Content Manager tab, in the Tools group, click Check In Styles to display or close the Check In Style panel.
On this panel, the Check In Styles and General setting options are displayed.
Check In Styles
Check In Styles allow you to check in mail items using a predefined set of Content Manager defaults. These Check In Styles can allow you to quickly check in a mail item without having to complete record entry forms and can be set up to either keep the email within Outlook or to delete it from Outlook once it's been checked in.
From the Check In Styles panel, Check In Styles can be:
- Created
- Edited
- Deleted
- Reload - allows the user to sync the list of Check In Styles displayed in Outlook with the Content Manager database. If new Check In Styles are added via the Content Manager client, this list will need to be reload to display the latest list of Check In Styles.
- Linked to Outlook folders
- Processing Backlog
- as well as setting the General defaults for the use of Check In Styles
General settings
Default style for Check In - from the drop-down list, select the default Check In Style to be used when an Outlook item is checked into Content Manager. If the preference is to select a Record Type to check in an email, from the drop-down list, select Select Record Type.
Check In sent items - select this option to automatically check in an Outlook Item when it is sent. Sent Outlook Items will be checked in using the Default style for sent items, but this can be changed on the mail item before sending, if required. f the preference is to select a Record Type for Check In, from the drop-down list, select Select Record Type.
Default style for sent items - from the drop-down list, select the default Check In Style to be used when an Outlook item is checked into Content Manager when it is sent. If the preference is to select a Record Type to check in a sent item, from the drop-down list, select Select Record Type.
